Lisa earned her M.A. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Argosy University/Phoenix. Her life has revolved around participating in athletics from a young age. Flinging herself around the house at the age of 2, her parents thought gymnastics classes would be safer. As she got older she developed a love for playing tennis. Currently, she is an avid runner with a recent appreciation and addiction for the marathon distance.

Lisa's desire to pursue sport psychology is the result of a shoulder injury. Coping with an injury that meant no more tennis, she was exposed to this growing field and became passionate about working with other athletes. She approaches mental skills training by individualizing skills to be both sport and life specific to the athlete. She believes this application reinforces skills learned and teaches adaptability. Originally from Chicago, IL, Lisa made her way to Oregon in 2006. When not working or running, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her beagles. She also loves to travel, especially to Chicago to see her family.
