Jimmy Yoo

Jimmy Yoo is currently completing his Masters and PhD in Sport Psychology at the San Diego University for Integrative Studies.  He is presently a mental skills trainer at SPINW.  Jimmy provides services that include sport performance enhancement, stress management, recovery from injury, team cohesion, and career transition.

Jimmy’s passion for sport psychology developed through years of competing as an athlete at the high school, college, and club levels.  He was a three-sport athlete in high school, competing in football, wrestling, and lacrosse.  In college he played four years of NCAA Division-III college lacrosse.  He also has over ten years of experience coaching lacrosse at the youth, high school, and college levels.  In addition, he enjoys other sports including snowboarding, hiking, fly-fishing, swimming, and biking.

Jimmy believes that all athletes - competitive and recreational - can benefit from mental skills training to accomplish their goals and to achieve consistent peak performance.  Most of all, he feels that it is important to help others find a balance in their lives and to ultimately enjoy what they are doing.
