As a former college quarterback and three-sport high school athlete, Mark brings a lifetime of sports experience in applying the mental game. He was a high school varsity basketball coach for 5 years and an assistant college basketball coach for 6 years that included a National Final Four finish and numerous All-League and All-American athletes.

In addition to directing his own basketball camps, he was the Director of the Portland Trailblazers Basketball Camp and the General Manager of The Hoop - Beaverton.

He has trained closely with Dr. Joseph Parent, author of Zen Golf and Zen Putting to develop and apply the mental training skills to his own golf game and his golf clients.

Brian Baxter

Brian earned his MA in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in California in 2004.  Brian's interest in sport psychology bloomed from his background in soccer coaching, and his experience in working with teams, individuals, athletes, parents, and coaches has expanded to basketball, baseball, golf, swimming, motocross, mixed martial arts, cross country, and tennis.  Brian's philosophy in working with athletes involves a two-pronged approach.  First, he strives to help the athlete identify and build awareness of the difficulties they're facing, areas for improvement, and their strengths; the next task is to develop strategies for enhancing strengths and breaking down weaknesses.  Second, Brian guides his athletes through the process of implementing their strategies so that they become second nature.

Brian is originally from Gainesville, FL, but has lived all over.  Brian and his family moved to Portland from the Bay Area in 2005 because they wanted to stay on the west coast, but in a smaller city with better access to the outdoors. So far, they love being in the Pacific NW.  His wife Debbie is a photographer, and his 6-year-old son, Hawk, is a kindergartener. The family also includes Murphy, a black lab.
